Zuzana Simonovska specializes in fashion law and intellectual property law, advising clients on copyright, trademarks, domain names and designs. Apart from leading her general intellectual property practice, Zuzana provides advice and guidance to startups and emerging designers on brand and business establishment. Through her pro bono practice, Zuzana mentors young talents in design, art and fashion.
Zuzana received an LL.M. degree at the USC Gould School of Law in Los Angeles and at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) by Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich. In the field of fashion law, she completed the Fashion Law Institute’s program at Fordham University in New York and regularly attends seminars and conferences dedicated to the newly defined field of fashion law. Zuzana contributes to both foreign and domestic publications and often speaks at conferences and seminars on intellectual property and fashion law (Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Masaryk University Faculty of Law, Palacky University Faculty of Law). Zuzana is a member of the Czech Bar Association, International Trademark Association (INTA), USC and MIPLC Alumni Network.
