Before Jakub became a partner at DLA Piper in 2011, he spent 5 years as a partner at Wolf Theiss and 10 years as an associate at Gleiss Lutz. He has advised clients on some of the most significant transactions in the Czech Republic over the past 15 years in financial, corporate law, and merger and acquisition. He also advises clients on corporate restructurings including cross-border mergers, refinancing and negative equity solutions. He has extensive experience in the energy sector, construction, and healthcare. He further advises clients on commercial contracts, employment, litigation, and arbitration. Jakub heads the real estate practice in the Czech Republic and also coordinates CEE countries in real estate matters.
Jakub graduated from Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague.
