Aleš Eppinger graduated from the Faculty of Law at Palacký University in Olomouc in 2001.
After graduating from the Law Faculty, Aleš worked over 7 years for one of the leading international law firms in the Czech Republic. As a senior lawyer, Aleš was responsible mainly for German-speaking clients.
Aleš is primarily focused on international business law, in particular in mergers and acquisitions, furthermore in civil law, property law, insolvency law and judicial and arbitration proceedings.
During his professional career, Aleš has been involved in many large international transactions, including cross-border acquisitions, complex restructuring of large multinational holdings and also in an international arbitration. Furthermore, Aleš provided banks, engineering and energy companies with legal services in particular in business law matters. Aleš has a strong international background and gained extensive experience in large transactions mainly in EU countries, China and India.
Aleš is also a very active lecturer and a key speaker at many business conferences. He currently focuses especially on issues related to the status of entrepreneurs and on new legal opportunities with respect to the recodification of the private law effective from 2014.
Aleš is a partner of the Schaffer & Partner group from 2008 and founded law office Schaffer & Partner Legal in 2009. Aleš Eppinger has been registered at the Czech Bar Association since 2005.
Since 2011 Aleš is a president of Czech-Turkish Mixed Chamber of Commerce.
