Zuzana is a program management officer at UN-Habitat in Nairobi, Kenya. In her role, she supports building the capacities of local authorities and urban leaders in the area of sustainable urbanization. She is one of the youngest international civil servants at the United Nations.
Previously, she was posted with the UN in Beirut, where she worked on social protection and the rights of persons with disabilities in the Arab region. Between 2016-2017, Zuzana served as the historically first Czech UN Youth Delegate, representing the rights and interests of young Czechs in global intergovernmental processes.
She was featured as a prominent millennial in the Top Women of the Czech Republic magazine in 2019.
Zuzana studied at Pomona College in Claremont, California, and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has lived in 7 countries and speaks Czech, English, French, Spanish, Vietnamese and is studying Arabic.
