Attorney-at-law, a member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. Tomasz worked as an adjunct professor at the Department of European Economic Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz from 2009 to 2010. Tomasz was enrolled on the list of European Commission experts on bankruptcy law in September 2007.
He was a partner at Głowacki Chilarski Sieklicki law firm (2014-2017) and at Wicherkiewicz Chilarski law firm (2011-2014). From 1998 to 2011 he worked for the largest law firm in Poland - Domański Zakrzewski Palinka as a head of its insolvency practice.
His fields of expertise include company, insolvency and restructuring law. He worked as an advisor for the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice and the Ukrainian-European Policy and Legal Advice Center in the process of adjusting Ukrainian insolvency law to the standards and rules of the European Union.
He has written a number of works on insolvency and company law, particularly in the field of international insolvency law. He was a speaker at conferences on insolvency law. He organized training sessions and seminars on insolvency and company law for the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Lodz, the Warsaw Chamber of Civil Law Notaries, the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Lodz Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and also for entrepreneurs.
He is a Polish Business Center Club expert in insolvency law and company law, a member of the Association of Restructuring Practitioners as well as a member of the Insolvency Law Section at Allerhand Institute.
